E.R. Precision Optical Corporation (ERPOC) is a diverse manufacturing company located in Apopka, FL, providing high precision optics to the defense, aerospace, electronics and medical markets for a variety of applications.  ERPOC is focused to support U.S. defense and commercial infrared and visible optics applications.

2021 – Enhances Metrology and service capability adding the MWAVE339 IR interferometer and the MWAVE Refractometer

2020 – Florida Companies to watch award from Grow Florida

2019 – Acquires a 22,000 sq. ft. facility in Apopka, FL maintaining Hubzone status

2018 – Enhances Metrology capabilities with Keyence VR-3200 wide area 3D hi-speed measurement system

2016 – Listed in Top 100 Manufacturing Companies in the Orlando Business Journal, Highlighted as a Small Business Success in the State of the City address by Mayor Dyer of Orlando, Installed CNC Polisher to increase production capacity.

2015 – Signed Distribution Agreement to offer ProHawk Real-time Video Enhancement Systems

2014 – Designated as a partner to US Army’s Strategic Materials Group for Demilitarization & Germanium Recycling

2013 – Saved over $1Million tax dollars through development of the B-52 IR Optic Refurbish program with Robins AFB

2011 – 5 axis CNC machining centers installed, First germanium (Ge) crystals grown for optical lenses, Receives William C. Schwartz Industry Innovation Award

2010 – 15,000 sq. ft. facility expansion begins, Crystal growing capabilities added, First silicon (Si) crystals grown to customer specifications

2008 – ERPOC expands its exposure globally

2007 – Company is acquired by current owner, Mark Hess

2005 – ERPOC receives ISO certification

2001 – ERPOC admitted to the Orlando HUBZone by the U.S. Small Business Administration
