E.R. Precision Optical Corporation (ERPOC) is a diverse manufacturing company located in downtown Orlando, FL., serving the defense & aerospace , electronics and medical markets with high precision optics for a variety of applications . ERPOC is currently expanding its facilities to support US infrared optics applications.

  • 1992 > ERPOC incorporated
  • 2001 > ERPOC admitted to the Orlando Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone), by the US Small Business Administration
  • 2005 > ERPOC receives ISO certification
  • 2007 > Company is purchased by current owner, Mark Hess. Company remained focused on supporting regional businesses demanding precise optical components.
  • 2008 > ERPOC expands its exposure globally
  • 2010 > Crystal growing capabilities added
  • 2010 > First silicon (Si) crystals grown to customer specifications
  • 2010 > 9000 sq ft facility expansion begins
  • 2010 > Selected "Outstanding Small Business" in the Orlando Business Journal
  • 2011 > ERPOC introduces a new image
  • 2011 > Completion of new 15K sq ft facility in Orlando HUBZone
  • 2011 > 5 axis CNC machining centers - scooping capability installed
  • 2011 > First germanium (Ge) crystals grown for IR optical applications
